The Department of Social and Behavioral Health (SBH) in the CEPH accredited School of Public Health (SPH) at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), the most diverse University in the US, offers a Ph.D. program in social and behavioral health track. The Ph.D. is designed to prepare students for careers in which advanced analytical and conceptual capabilities are required, such as university teaching, research, consulting, policy development or other high-level positions. Completion of the program typically requires a minimum of 54 credits. The seven faculty in the program have active research agendas with several funded grants. Graduate assistantships are available.
