The Bachelor of Science in Public Health equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to protect and improve community health through assessment, program planning and evaluation, policy development, advocacy, and health communication. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, offering students opportunities to work on projects that address real-world public health challenges. Graduates are prepared to identify and monitor health concerns, promote healthy behaviors, and prevent disease in collaboration with individuals and communities. Career opportunities span the nonprofit, government, healthcare, and private sectors, and graduates may also pursue professional certification, such as through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).
