With this degree, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to carry out organized missions for impacting health and health equity in a multitude of settings. Just a few examples include weight management, diabetes prevention, disease and illness prevention, exercise, and other health issues. And because UIndy is situated in Indianapolis, a hub of public health activity, you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from practitioners in hospitals, non-profit organizations, wellness centers, and other worksites. Our program provides direct access to faculty, allowing students to engage with research and community programming on multiple levels. The real world skill development prepares students to step directly into the field or provide a strong foundation for graduate school.
